So, whenever I play a MMO, the characters I have come alive in my mind. Instead of me developing their backstory and personality, they seem to tell it to me. This probably sounds odd to a lot of folks, but hey, my brain works in odd ways. And I'm ok with that.

That being said, I commissioned two images from the great and wonderfully talented for two of my characters with their lover. Again, this was what these characters told me. In both cases, I had thought they were going to be hooking up with someone else, but they came in and changed my mind. They're pretty convincing, I must say.

This is the second of the two images I commissioned and features my Miquo'te M'hirraka with her partner Minfilia taking full advantage of the new hug emote that was just added in. -giggle- I originally thought that M'hirraka was going to end up with Mother from Gridania, but these two convinced me otherwise. I mean, why else, when you have an item that allows you to communicate across great distances would you need someone to keep coming back across the continent to meet with you face to face? There's got to be something going on there. Then, when you add in the fact that M'hiffaka has a little Minfilia "doll" and, yeah. You know where my mind is going. Anywho, enjoy this beautiful portrait of the two enjoying some much needed downtime after saving the realm... again.
